I'm having a blast with it. The squad leader, and the new additions, are great!

Commander can sometimes be a liability, because if he's not a good one, and your team doesnt defend and repair his eyes and weapons... yer basically screwed.

Oh yeah, that's a must. I only play on servers with no time limit. I was just on a server that had the additional weapons unlocked too. I love the medic's new weapon.

Squadplay has to be one of the greatest things. Nothing like running around with your buddies causing havoc, and spawning by your squad leader.

Speaking of squads... look at that wonderful one man supersquad. Whenever I go squad leader, noone joins

I had no idea either. You just had to come over and ask to join. I was only letting people in from hl2.net because if I had let in some random I was worried that an hl2.net'er would come in when the squad was full or something.

Note to everybody: When asking to join my squad, say you're from hl2.net. I get lots of random's asking to join that I turn down and it'd make it easier just to identify yourself because there's forum-goers that are coming out of the woodwork to play this game. Either that or you have different nicknames in BF2 than on the forums.

exactly, Like I was saying to Amish the first day the demo came out, Doom3 had technology/lighting and shadows, Hl2 brought physics to the table, BF2 raises the bar and puts the focus on teamwork, rather than individual performance.... that and it's just filled to the brims with immersive, war movie moments.

love special forces sachet charges, 2 can level a tank... course getting close enough to use them...

Yeah, Datrixx is my ingame name. And I got a few of you with my anti-tank, untill you used your superior teamwork to overrun me.
I would have liked to join (that's the only reason I came to that server) but your whole team had 16 players, so I couldn't join.
