How do i bring up console in HLDM

how do i bring the console up in half life 2 deathmatch?

Options -> Keyboard -> Advanced -> Check "Enable Developer Console (~)"

Then hit ~ and console will pop up.

what are some cool commands you can use? and is there a way to play in third person camera?

If sv_cheats are on, you can type thirdperson (not 100% sure it works for HL2DM but It should). Oh and type firstperson to go back to firstperson.

yes it worked for third person but since there is no model for gordon, tis almost the same as in first person camera only that your field of view is wider and you cannot zoom into objects, plus you move differently.
