How do I disable the AWP & SG550 from being bought on my server?

I'm using the DEDICATED SERVER FOR LINUX. I'd like to know how to ban #5 and #6 Rifles (AWP & SG550) from the server.

I can't seem to get any support on CSS. Any mods, server scripts, anything available?


Please tell me how to ban certain weapons, we'd appreciate it.

I'm not 100% sure, but you can't disable weapons with rcon. Source Mod is your answer, but that won't be released for a couple of weeks.

Here is how to ban AWP & SG550 from your server

Here are the steps in order:
1. Login to FTP and go to directory: /root/cstrike/scripts/
2. Rename weapon_awp.ctx to banweapon_awp.ctx.
3. Rename weapon_g3sg1.ctx to banweapon_g3sg1.ctx
4. Rename weapon_sg550.ctx to banweapon_sg550.ctx

No Restart is needed. Anyone who tries to buy it will get deducated money but not get the weapon. This is for servers that have RULES about using AutoSnipers. Think of the deduction as a Penalty.
