How do I fix my vsync?

I'm using the 78.05 drivers and the 81.XX is supposed to fix this. But when I use the 81.XX drivers it hard locks my system when I play Counter-strike source and when I have sli on using the newest drivers it ran very jumpy, with my fps out of wack jumping high and low.

So I found out that the 81.XX drivers don't work with dualcore proc. what can I do to get it all working correctly. Do the 81.94 drivers fix this?

The newest drivers I know have performance tweaks for dual core CPUs like ours. I'm pullin like 120+ FPS in CS: Source.

were you having hard locking with the 81.8X drivers?

just tried the 81.94 they still caused a hard lock while playing CSS
