how do I get the console?!?

~, ` etc do nothing. I know I'm supposed to get the console menu, but it isn't working. Do I need to add something to the Target feild ala HL1 to get it?

Yeah mine doesn't work either. In the advanced keyboard settings you're supposed to "enable developer key" or something to enable the console but that didn't work either.

Any help?

As stated above, there is a checkbox in the Keyboard->Advanced section. This should fix the problem for most people. If that fails, you can try adding "-console" ala HL1. Failing this, you probably have a non-standard US keyboard, which apparently are having difficulty recognizing the ` key. In this case you're going to have to bind another key to bring up the console... try using a standard one (ie an alphanumeric).
