How do I keep finding such idiot friends?

I am surrounded by morons. some folks from irc wonder why I don't like my friends, well I have two friends already who can't do something as simple as install natural selection. I gave them all the links, they found it, and even when they asked how to patch it I told em, but they still don't understand.

One of them doesn't even understand the concept of a patch methinks. This guy has been playing cs since the WON versions, but still doesn't get how to patch it. and of course being resourceful and finding the patch on google or the natural selection website would be too easy for me.

Another has been trying for months and can't figure it out. When I told him to patch it, he said "it doesn't do anything." "did you install it?" "grumble mumble confusion"

turns out he just downloaded the executable and put it in his NS folder. omfg. kill. he at least has a little bit of an excuse, he was a mac user his whole life and only played blizzard games(damn them for making it easy)

This could all be forgiven if they were just computer newbs and didn't say stupid crap constantly. but alas, they are total newbs in every respect ever.

anyway, I'm gonna stop rantng. ugh. someone comfort me.

hahah, I am nick burns to all my friends cept one who is equal and to some point exceeds my own knowledge of advance computer useage. Hes younger but I am talk to him at a Ph.D vocabulary level and he can respond just as reasonably. Not many types like that exist.

I suppose some people know stuff and some people dont...its the way things go. I dont know much about lots of different things my friends enjoy doing, but in the end it works out best because we all learn from each other...except a couple of them who adamantly beleive computers are still for geeks. But they are beginning to use MSN which i suppose is a start

sure, but we still had the resourcefulness necessary(at least some of us) to figure it out without automatically whining and wondering why the patch doesn't work. And they've been around computers long enough that they should know better.

Actually, it was the Nazi's who set fire to the Riechstag, and they blamed a Dutch Communist Retard. Nearly all their enemies rolled into one. Pretty amazing how they all came together in one person :/ he was set up tbh.
