Like I'm @ 2.29GHz on a 2600+ Barton w/ 4 fans in my system, 2 out 2 in, stock CPU and heatsink (getting new ones today). I play CS:S w/ o a hitch and I've run 3DMark. Can I OC more?

thx yall

the second you start getting 'files not found' or similar messages, change your setting back by 1 or 2 previous attempts and then it should be fine. rather be safe than have a slightly singed paper weight...:(

Smoke starts rising from the computer case, makes strange noises and electricity scorches the walls then with a sudden burst of sparks your computer case explodes launching your monitor 17 and a 1/2 feet in the air pieces of metal and componets fly out and pin you to the wall you see you beloved graphics card <insert card name/model> fly out burst into flames and stab the cat the fish get electrocuted in their fish bowl and you think to yourself they didn't stand a chance.
Congratualtions you just overclocked.

sorry about the story i just need to keep my mind busy till the release of Hl2 but hey makes a good read though.

or download memtest86
if you overclock mem gets overclocked also
memtest gives errors if mem is overclocked to far
or maybe you can add more voltage to ram to corect the errors
