How do I port weapons from cs:source to half life 2 singleplayer?

Hey how can I get the weapons from cs:source to work in hl2 singleplayer, I know its the same source code so they have to be compatable some how? I know nothing about modding this so if you know spare nothing.

Ok, well I've already started converting the MP5 to replace the HK SMG in HL2....I have the model in and working in HL2 but I still need to fix the textures and the origins.....I may write up a tutorial once I'm done.
