i want to OC my ATI radeon X600 pro 256mb
so i get better performance and fps.. but how do i use it
do i just click "find max core" then when thats finished click "find max mem"???

That should work.
Although when I used it, it went all the way up and then all the way back down. :\

you can also make a profile for it...save it as a name, and whenever you play games or whatever load your settings

We can't know if those temps are ok unless you tell us how hot your card is. Look in your ATi control panel on OVERDRIVE whilst the card is overclocked and tell us what the temp is.

If you don't have an OVERDRIVE tab overclocking just got a whole lot harder.

i got a problem...that problem is i cant get to ATI control center bcos i endtask CLI.exe and i can never get the control panel up now..
i tried reinstalling it but it doesnt work :(

hehe not really. Stability is always what you look for when OCing. Once you hit the limit (by gradual incremental increases) then you can adjust where you want to run the card that you feel is safe.

Besides system hangs and restarting, if you notice artifacts when playing games then either the core or memory is clocked too high. Artifacts are generally white and either look like dots (snow) or are more horistonal render mistakes. link
If textures are odd colors/patterns (pink/purple etc) but the object renders Ok then it is generally corrupt textures which could happen in the memory.

Just lower the clock speed until it clears up. Generally most underclock from there a few mhz as well so they are safe. Sometimes playing your favorite game for hours can bring back the artifacts because of heat. That just means you need to lower it a little more.

If none of this has happend yet then you should be safe.

Edit: Have you removed ATItools or tried to remove the basic display adapter and reinstall? Could always use driver cleaner.
