How do I make all windows open in maximized mode? What do I have to set?
How do I make all videos and downloaded clips play in QuickTime everytime?

Also, is Far Cry(Retail) supposed to come with a manual?

It depends which file types you want to open in quicktime. Go to my computer and click on tools < folder options < file types < click on the file type you want to open in quicktime (note: you will have to do it with all the file types u want to open in qt) i will use mpeg for this example < change < then find quciktime in the list or browse for it, then ok. Do that for all the fileytypes u want to open with qt, and that solves ur 2nd q. sorry for the crap formatting

Windows should remember how you have your window open. If you open IE and maximize it then close it and the next time you open it, it should be maximized.
