I'm trying out using Thunderbird, and my only gripe with it atm is that it's a pain to add new feeds, so I was wondering, what software/site do you use to check your feeds?

If you use firefox, get the Sage extension. The RSS can be accessed any time in your browser.

What is an RSS Feed, what's its purpose? I tried to learn once, but *shrug*

It's a really quick way to keep tabs and look at all of your news sites.

For example, usually when you want to see if there's new news on a site, you have to go to the frontpage and look, but with this, you just open a program (for me, I have it built into FireFox which is pretty decent) and you can REALLY quick look at all of the sites and the updates.

It's essentially a time saver so you don't have to keep navigating to sites to look to see if there is anything new. When I first heard this, I wasn't impressed since it didn't sound helpful, but it does save you tons of time and is worth it. :)

I only look at news sites when I have time, so knowing when there is a new post, isn't going to matter if I don't have time, I'd end up going anyway, but I DO see the good in it.
