Strange coincidence me and Van decided to record today.. Whateva, long live music and so forth.

The solo from the song Closer to the Heart by Rush

The audio isn't in sync with the video near the end of the video, I don't know why, you can even hear a click at one point, that's where I tried to speed the tempo of the audio so it'd fit better.. I took the recording and the video at the exact same time, so I have no idea why it doesn't sync up..

By the way - I took video and audio at separate times because I don't have a video camera, I used the web cam from my laptop, and then plugged straight into the mic jack in the computer.

The rest is easy peasy, though. It's like 3 chords through the whole song, youtube Rush actually playing it, the start is cool, but still easy, if I played the start I'd have to play the whole thing.. I just didn't feel like it.

For me the singers voice kills it. Sounds like he got kicked in the balls before he sang... But I love YYZ. They should do more instrumentals, like the beginning of 2112. That song kicks ass.
