Im thinking of getting this HDTV:

It has all the connections I need (HD for Xbox 360, 2 SCARTS for DVD player and Freeview). One thing Im unsure about is how normal terrestrial TV will look on this 37" HDTV? Will the picture be pixely?

Also, I'll be playing normal non-HD DVDs, will these be pixaly too as they are not HD?

Im new to the HDTV scene so sorry for the noob questions

for dvds it will look best played with component input. 4:3 looks best on the tv imo in panoramic(16.9) mode if you have it, but it kind of has the concave curve effect to it. if you play in 4:3 its just to small. depending on your receiver it could allow you to do widescreen.

Whats a reciver? Im thinking of just connecting my DVD player direct to the HDTV through componant SCART.

receiver where you get your cable or satellite channels from.
