How good will HL2 Run on a...

I am running a sapphire 9600se and i am wondering how it will do on my system.

I also have a 2.8c
512MB 3200 ram (soonw ill be 1024)

And if anyone is running CSS on a system like mine would you be abel to post some pictures of the game and the fps? thank you

i think you will be good with a 128 card, that is what 2 of my computers at home will be running. and both have 512 RAM

Is that a 2.8ghz processor you're running? If so, on moderate settings you should be able to run HL2 just fine. And of course, going from 512mb to a gig is always advised, especially for today's games. The jump in frames from 512 to 1024 is pretty noticeable in recent hits such as Far Cry and Doom 3.

:cheers: I am soooo positive you'd be running Half Life 2 on like everything on medium to high on like 1024 x 728. I had a 2.8C and 9800 Pro w/ 512 PC-2700 a couple months back and I was able to crunch FarCry with all settings on high, some things were on very high and 1280 x 1024, I would average about 45 FPS.

By the way, it will run Half-Life 2 decent. Better than a number of Nvidia FX cards in DirectX9.
