Unfortunatly, the version on bittorent is the unconpressed 1.1gig version, since its automagicaly uncompressed when its done preloading on steam.

As far as using bittorrent or P2P apps for obtaining gcf's, I wouldn't recommend it, you never can know if it was altered in some way.

After I was giving up hope of ever getting past the steam servers are too busy message thats turned up everytime I've tried I managed to get the whole thing in one hit last night :smoking:

I deleted the first preload by mistake (it starts around 50%) so it had to go through all of that just to get back up to the 50%s.

Stuckdedness and STEAM go together nicely.
