How long was HL 1?

Does anybody have any idea how long HL 1 was? I mean when I play it, I play it like days apart, and I don't keep track. HL is supposed to be between 35 - 40 hours right?

took me a week or 2, I would play in bursts of hours. I can't remember much

took me about 20 hours on my first run through. and I was pretty much a noob then. I think I replayed it in about 7 or 11 hours or something a while back.

So far I've put in a good 8-10 hours, and I'm a little more then halfway through the game (this maybe because I don't use cheats and am playing on Hard dificulty... Which is pretty ****ing hard). I think when I first beat the game it took about 20 hours, give or take.

Half-Life 2 is supposedly double that in length.

Actually it's about the same length.

There are less chapters but the overall amount of game is the same.

yes jone i heard the same. i heard 30-40 hours of play for HL2.

HL2 is 36 hours of game play me thinks has 5 chapters with each with 5 - 10 areas in them

AND i never cheat!!!
