how long will this take?

ok so ive had to reinstall hl2 and steam 6 TIMES, :flame:
yeah? just please let that sink in for a moment ok?

so now steam is apparrnetly (spelling) very busy i think and is not doing any thing.
it just says preparing to play half life 2 and is at 0% ready

what should i do?

please, please help me as a fellow gamer i really cant stand this much longer

a couple of times during my install, Steam maxed the CPU and appeared to hang. I just waited it out and eventually the piece of sh*t responded.
