How long?

I'm setting up a steam account, and did the whole e-mail verification thing, but it's been a good half hour and they haven't sent it. So i changed the e-mail verification address, and it still hasn't arrived. So i was wondering if this amount of time for the e-mail to come is normal...I don't remember a particularly long e-mail verification last time i installed it, but i could be wrong.

Any ideas?

It just depends, it shouldnt be too long, I know at one point that they were really backed up and slow, but I thought they had fixed it, all I can tell you is to wait or if not contact steam help.

Ugh...it's been like an hour or so now, i dunno if it's coming. I have tried 3 different e-mails.

I might be too inpatient, but this is frustrating. Damn you, steam!

Nope, no new news. I sent off an e-mail at about 1'ish, it's now 1 a.m. that's 12 hours. 12 hours, maybe 12 total requests on 3 different e-mail addresses. arg, this is so frustrating.

It sure as hell did. I tried again today, 9:25 PST, and i got an e-mail instantaneously. I don't know if those other 6 e-mails got lost in cyberspace and are forever stuck in intarweb limbo, but yeah this one came instantly. ahh, finally, thanks for your help.
