How many half lifes?????

Hi , right i have half life 2 and iv played it loads, but what does episode 1 and 2 and so on mean??? ARE THERE MORE ??!?!?! I know im a newb but i love this game i didnt know there where sequels/expansions.

and how does this exclude it from the series... it was obviously on some sort of "computer entertainment" console. This doesnt change the fact that it was indeed a game that at least played along with the half life story line.

( correct me if im wrong about anything, I'v never actually heard of the game, im just assuming it was a console game ... was this the ps2 version of the game? )

Yes, Decay was released for the PS2 back in '01.
As a matter of fact it is being ported by fans, at http://decay.half-lifecreations.com, for the Half-Life engine in Q2 of '07. If successful, they hope to remake it for the Source engine. The team has entered the beta testing stage and hope to release it sometime this month.

There will also be an episode three, an unofficial(third party devoloper) Episode four, and... who knows beyond that. Depends if they leave us with a cliffhanger on three.
