how many maps are there?

Im very new to counter strike - source. I tested it out the other night before playing hl2 and I could only find 4 different maps. Are there alot more than this out there and can I download new ones??

go to Create new Server and you can see what maps there are alternatively, current maplist at www.csnation.net (probably the best cs news source there is..)

and give it a month or two and hopefully the custom maps and skins scene for cs source will be as big as it was for CS before!! (ps, it was/is big)

December will be a great month for CS:S fans like myself. We will get more maps, (even a totally new one), and new player models (quite hi-poly).

New official content will come in december. http://www.csnation.net is good, but also take at http://www.cs-infos.com for news. CSInfos also has custom maps, if you wish to play more maps.
