How many screenshots did you take during the first time you played?

Yeah, I'm bored.

So, how many? My count's at 116 during one play through of the game. and I only take screenshots that really impress me.
 
wOW! I took about twenty screens, but only 8 were by porpuse! :p
 
I only realised u could take pictures half way thru the game! I only take pictures of the battles i make spawning NPCs and watchin the battle fold out.
 
I didn't start taking them till city 17 for the same reason as DeathWish, but I still ended up with about 20
 
About 20-30. The most screenshots I've ever taken for a game.
 
I took about 10, some of them by accident while I was franticly trying to hit the quicksave button :p.
 
I took about 6 in the trainstation levels, but then I became too wrapped up in surviving.
 
This is one of my favourite screen shots.

On second thoughts, after I posted it, it looks a bit crappy. It looks much better on my desktop.

Thats why I switched the two. :)

I took about 5 on my first play through. A lot more on my second.
 
Nearly 400????
I took 3. One of a dead combine and 2 of Alyx, I couldn't be bothered really.
 
Heh, I took a ton as I was riding through the citadel, seeing the striders and gunships and stalkers was awesome
 
I took about 30, nowhere as much as the 237 I took during Opposing Forces. :D
 
i think this is either because they used source engine or due to some unforseen consequences of the HL2 installation

well, let's say i pressed f5 almost more than i pressed mouse1.
 
Zero. But the second time through i got a picture of an overwatch soldier lying dead in the middle of the final helicopter battle, when the overwatch shouldn't have appeared yet. I think he fell out of the 'copter. :p
 
0 screenshots, no point since everyone I know bought the game.
 
i could not find my pictures,even in screenshot directory.the reference in configration file is "jpeg",is that correct?
 
I didn't take any the first time through the game. But I took almost more than 3 the second time I went through!
 
32 screenshots
all of them were by accident
screenshot button was right next to save game button so i pressed screenshot button alot
 
A couple, but only because I kept getting the 'quicksave' button wrong. :rolling:

(I hate using it, but I also hate playing one section over four or five times...)

I don't usually take screenshots. Everyone else seems to take enough to make up for that though.
 
I hit the screenshot key quite often. Sadly I didn't notice that my bind was reset after loading levels til I was halfway through. :(
I made sure I got plent during the last level though. ;)
And I made up for it during my last 2 times through HL2 too. No really, I think I made up for it 5x.

The first time through I didnt' take that many. However, I did realize that game "photography" was a real possibility. Shortly after that, I posted a thread about game photography.

Guys have started photoshoping the shots to get more of a photography feel and the work is just amazing.

I think I made a game photography post here too....but I'm old and senile. **shrugs**

Anyway, here is my open directory of what I presently have. The maps are categorized and I have only shot and sorted about 1/2 of the game. I plan to go back and shoot the whole game a few more times on higher graphix settings.

I have 751 screenshots and I'm in the Follow Freeman section of the game.... :|
 
This may sound a little excessive, but uh.. throughout the entire game, one play through, first go, I took 2205 screenshots.

Basically I just hit my screenshot key every time I saw something cool.. thus, 2205 ;)

But seriously, thats a whole bunch of screenies m8 :cheers:
