I posted at read like this in the "Off-topic" forum, but i don't think that many people saw it there.

3 times for HL, but more times afterwards with cheats, just messing about etc.

Completed Opposing Forces the other day in about an hour.

around 4-6 times.. i've kinda lost track tho..lol
might try OP4 again now just to refresh everything.

Opposing FORCE :p

I still haven't gotten around to finishing it yet. Maybe one of these days...

Anybody know if we will be able to load our HL saved games into HL:Source?

Oh yeah, Opposing Force... strange, i've always called it Opposing Forces... wonder why.

Good game though, just a bit short.

Quick off-topic question - how come Blue Shift isn't on steam?

played it when it was just released, and some months ago :)
that makes 2

Hmm I finished more than 11 times lol! I'm going to play hl,op4,bs again soon :D

one and three quarters... but i vited two as the first time i played it i played up to right before you go to xen, then i used a level skip through xen and killed the last boss with god mode on... but tbh the first time i played HL i dint like it much.

Second time round i enjoyed it loads more. i have no idea why. mayeb its becuase i had more experience in computer games and i now like CS and other HL mods a lot more...

*edit* i have also completed opposing force around the same time i completed it a second time.. played a bit of blue shift too :)

I watched my friend beat most of it, then about 3 years ago I tried to beat it and stopped because I was so addicted to everquest and then about 6 months ago(I think) I beat the game the whole way through.

Are you kidding me? 31 times?
And I hape that eveyone here understand that by "finnish" I mean finnish the whole game, not only Nahiliath(spelling?)

I have never beaten it completely without cheats. I always get to Xen and stop playing. I just miss Black Mesa too much.

2 times and the xen thing was just super boring, but HOLY SHIT!!!!!! 31 times are you sick?

i have finished 5 times, I have played various parts countless times though. It is so predictable now, I only play once in a while now, I know the whole game so well.

Well over 11 times completely, then just played it with cheats and messed around.

I don't know...4 maybe. At least, I've only palyed it through completely 4 times without the cheats.

I've never finished HL /o\

Got to Xen 3 times and stopped, couldn't stand it :/ (i'd greatly appreciate someone sending me a pm with what actually happens at the end. In particular the conversation with g-man)

Just twice actually, each for both endings

You know you could have just reloaded after you saw the first one then not walk into the portal then see that ending... :-D that's what i did

i believe the guy who said he finished it 31 times, i think i must have done it at least 20 times. i've been a total fan of the game since i've had the luck of playing the Day One pre-release chapter sold with voodoo banshee cards. seeing the scientists fall down with the broken elevator after i pressed the button made me see the light. opposing force and blue shift however, maybe 3 times each only. they're good add-ons but nothing too solid in my opinion. anyway i'm pretty sure half-life is a game i'll keep playing throughout my whole life. it just had too big of an impact of what i think of gaming.

I liked Xen, it was a nice change of pace. I don't understand why people hate it so much.

xen was scary. apart from the jumping puzzles the rest was pretty cool

Because of those damned jumping puzzles. Especially the one at the beginning of Interloper. Frustrating and boring at the same time. Sure, it looked nice, but that was it's only saving grace as far as I'm concerned.

Let's see. I've finished Blue Shift twice without skipping anything. Once on easy and on hard the second time. The first time I played Half-Life I used some noclipping on those irritating teleporters in the lambda complex. They drove me mad. I skipped Xen entirely. I think I "finished" HL another time, using the same method. I did Opposing Force to the end but couldn't kill the boss. I'm a bad person. :(
