How much have you bought from Steam?

So far, I've gotten:

HL2 Episode 1
Sin Episodes Emergence

Probably also gonna get Day of defeat source.

I'll be there to get HL episode 2 :thumbs: I can't wait to see how their world turns out :E

I love downloading and playing a program while I download. I love steam.

Guess I should reiterate. I'm not refering to actually buying directly from steam (although it's okay to mention if you have). The fact is, steam gets money if you buy from their or not. All of mine are retail.

Thing is though, even retail versions of steam are not really 'retail' in the first place, because you're playing on steam. All you get a cd that probably isn't even up to date anymore.

So anytime you buy a steam game, you are buying from steam.

Edit: What? Steam doesn't 'get money' if you buy it retail. VALVE does. Steam is just the distribution program that Valve uses.

I haven't bought anything retail anyway. Everything's been through Steam.

I think everyone should buy Episode 2 via Steam in the UK. The retail price is ridiculously inflated, and the box is contentless and entirely worthless. I'll be making my own Box and Backup DVD for all the episodes when they're all out.
