This is mainly for the player whom haven't finished the main story (as the Liberty City Minute achievement hangs in the balance for them)
How many hours would you say you go in between missions just focking around and doing whatever?

Please Note: This is for the single player free roam only.

EDIT: Obviously not in a single sitting. (I.E. Do you just sandbox for an hour, turn it off (stop playing all together) then go back later and do nothing but sandbox.

Since I've beaten the game it's all there really is to do, and I love it. Still laugh my ass off every time I hit a waist-height wall on a bike and fly 300 yards. But before I had beaten the game I didn't do any sandbox stuff, just stuck to the missions and sometimes some friend activities.

Playing time is at 63 hours and I've just done the last mission. Presuming it has taken me approximately a Liberty City Minute to do the story, I've dicked about for about 32 hours on and off.

I once spent an hour just standing on a building shooting down heli's. :/

Oh and once I found myself sniping civvies from a roof, and then realised how ice cold it was and commited RPG scuicide. :O :D

Before I beat the game, not much, but more so towards the end. After beating the game... well, that's all I do. And it's great.

I haven't sandboxed too much yet. I will once I get 100% completion (120 pigeons, a few random freaks to find and a few friend outings to go).

Whats the deal with the random pedestrians offering you missions? Do these guys affect the story at all?

Also off topic but who is the 'biker gang leader'? I'm at about 30% and just saved Roman from a warehouse in Bohan and he mentioned him. Nico also mentioned him earlier in a phonecall once to Roman when he was describing his experiences so far( he also mentioned Elizabetha, Manny, Packie etc) but I've yet to see him AFAIR :|

Packie is the man!

Sandboxing...not much to begin with but now I'm nearing the end of the game and I have all the weapons I'm beginning to stray from the path more often, it's just too much fun. One thing I will say, I've never seen a GTA through to the end before because of sandboxing fun, but I definitely will this time, it's been a pleasure to play so far.

I kinda stopped after I went to a gun store with almost 200000 dollars and left with 166 bucks :/

Needless to say, I am ready for the next 10 gunfights or so.

Not enough. I'm going to be doing a lot this week but eh, police gunfights aren't too fun on your own, I much prefer it with a friend or five in free-roam. There shall be more of that this week.

Cavalry, how is that even possible? I had 230k and bought everything until I was completely full on all ammo (as full as it lets you get), and I still had like 150k.. I might've even had more.

And that is full on EVERY gun I owned..

Well maybe not everyone is an expert bargainer like you. Did you ever consider that?

Asshole.
