How much time do you spend gaming each day?

It'd be interesting to hear the gaming habits of people around here, how often do you usually play games each day, and what kind of games do you spend the most time playing?

Also, specify how many different games you usually play during one day, do you cram in as many games as possible or spend all the time on one game?

And what days you play the most? You go marathon gaming at weekends or spend a few hours outletting your aggression after a hard day of work?

As for myself, I usually only spend around 1 hour gaming these days, the rest of the time I surf and chat.. One addiction is killing the other, so to speak. The games I play are varied but I usually only play one game when I do play, mostly multiplayer games like Opposing Force or play around abit with The Sims 2. I spend about as much time on weekdays as on weekends, sometimes I spend an hour extra on saturdays when gaming with friends and such.

Ever since school started for me, gaming has almost disappeared from my life. Nowadays, I only really have time to try out a demo here or there, then it's back to work.

It's tempting though with all these new games out. I wanna play them, but my studies would slide again like last year. Soon I will start to make time for games again. They are just too fun to leave alone.

Any free time I have I pretty much play games. I can say my social life is non existent so ya I play quite a bit. I play CS all the time. Never stopped playing it ever. Every once and a while ill go play COD or UT2K4. It sucks thought now that im in school the massive homework I get brings me away from CS

Id love to spend more time playing, but I hardly have an hour per day. I just started university and I study at home at least one hour for each class hour. I'm currently playing Fable, Deus Ex 2 and The Dig. As soon as I finish one of those I'll start Beyond Good & Evil.

I hear ya. I purchased Painkiller a few weeks ago to give me something to do (since the weeks before it were uneventful). Now I haven't even played the game in over a week.

Although I just finished the DOOM 3 demo today (finally). Was rather average. ;(

2-3 hours. I spend a bunch of time chatting and surfing and chilling here though. I'd say total computer time is about 6 hours when I have nothing better to do during the day...which means I get bored.

I used to play alot but I started job seeking and doing a web design training coruse so its about 2 hours or less. I play alot during the weekends though. On weekdays I barely have time to play anything vast so its normally just abit of RO.

Barely 30 minutes a day, 1 hour max, games don't seem to interest me as they did before, I use to play every kind of game before, now I only play "Big" games. I'm really wating for HL2 for some action, then, it will be 2 hours max.

I use to play a lot before, the day that I finished Call of Duty in 1 day, I realised that It was time to stop.

During the summer, I play anywhere between 5-8 hours, but I think I'm going to cut down on that next year and actually do stuff. Get a job, make money, buy stuff, get a girl, etc.

Man I never thought it was possible to spend more than 4 hours on a computer without having our eyes melting or without having nothing else to do. Where do you ppl get all that free time. This is my regular day:


6:00 Am- Wake up, take a shower, eat.
6:50 Am- Take the bus for college
7:50 Am- Class starts

11:00 Am - 1 hour break to have lunch

6:00 pm, class over, go for the bus.
7:00 pm, arrive home, eat, call girlfriend, relax
8:00 pm, homework (if no homework, i usually see my girlfriend, or call a friend. On tuesday and fridays i have Kung Fu courses so we forget about free time)
10:00 pm, go to sleep.

Used to be about 4-5 hours a day, but lately I haven't done much...apart from when I was playing Dawn Of War, but I've completed that now.

When hl2 comes out, I will probably play a lot more again but at the moment I don't play games at all.

I would say between 1-3 hours. Sometimes 3 sometimes 2 but not less than 1 Hour.
