Talking about that actually, would I be expected to miss classes/lectures to go to my job, or would they expect me to tell them before hand what days I can't be in and they'd work around that? Or will they just not hire me if my schedule is busy?
I'm thinking of applying for my first job at a computer shop. During my first year of uni I fixed 3 hawt girls' laptops (not paid in sex ), and think I know more than the average 'computer technology' studier. I shared a flat in first year with one, and they weren't asked to fix any computers.

Dont miss classes or lectures especially since you're paying for them

They'll probably work it around your schedule.
