Has anybody seen this? Two episodes have aired thus far. The Big Bang, and Black Holes. I don't know if there will be more, but I certainly hope so.

Narrated by Mike Rowe who is the greatest narrator ever.

It was really fascinating stuff. A lot of that stuff is so difficult for me to wrap my head around, but it does a great job of explaining it in a way that makes me think I could understand it with a little more time.

i watch the Universe show but never heard of this. is it similar??

the Ford Guy/Dirty Jobs dude?? count me in! what network does it run on??

So basicaly subject matter that I've seen countless times in other documentaries...

Pass

Fair enough. I found it to be more interesting than other such documentaries, but maybe that's because I'm biased to mike rowe's awesome voice.

Dirty Jobs, Deadliest Catch and others. He's the best.

Discovery Channel of course. It's Mike Rowe ;)

I wish I knew if it was just the two, or if there are more.

Nothing is coming up on the programming and I can't find anything on discovery channel website. Damn... I really wish they would have covered more stuff. Big Bang and Black Hole isn't enough!

It's a show on the Discovery Channel, made by Americans and narrated by an American...... pass
It probably states with the big BANG then 40 mins of explosions :(

Wow...

At least it's not a bunch of bleeps and black boxes ;)

I liked it. But I really enjoyed Stephen Hawkings into the universe that dealt with Time travel. Really explained light speed better than any documentary I've ever seen. Overall both these shows are awesome, just sucks it airs during breaking bad so I have to dvr the rerun.

BRAINIAC

On Discovery Channel, created by the British, narrated by an Englishman. Features 40 minutes of explosions and random weird experiments.

Wait, the one with Steven Hawkings? It's mostly narrated by an english-accented guy for me and it was just one two hour episode...

EDIT: NVM, is different. I've watched the first half of Into the Universe with SH and it was about the Big Bang and Black Holes.

Its a shame that Wonders of the Solar System is not hosted by
