hey guys i just got my e-mail from discreet on how to build shaders. its pretty neet heres what it says

A new download has been posted to the sparks developer website:

How to build shaders for the 3ds max Connection to Mental Ray

This document covers the details on how the 3ds max Connection to mental ray
reads shaders declaration from .MI files.

This allows users/developers to understand the basics on how to build shaders
and where to store the resulting files.

Furthermore, it describes additional “hints” that a shader can specify in order
to make it’s integration in the UI smoother.

Nice find, but I'm sure that out of the ten-thousand people on this board, only 10-20 may actually have a clue what this is all about.

OK, I guess I'm one of those 10-20 geeks ;)
