Pretty cool. I should probably read A Clockwork Orange sometime. Just realized I never actually knew what that book was about (haven't seen the movie either).
Also, didn't get around to reading Contact yet (though I did try once).

Never felt interested in fantasy, so that entire side is foreign to me except Something Wicked This Way Comes, the ending of which still irks me to this day.

[edit] Hmmm no Crichton on here. Maybe his books weren't that great and had anti-climatic endings, but who didn't like Jurassic Park? And it's weird that The Road is on here -- I've never considered that sci-fi.

Because voting on what the best fiction is inevitably results in stupid choices. On the whole I agree with most of it, but The Road (which I love) is not scifi.
