Hi,
because the driver of my GPU has a annoying bug, it causes my PC to get a BSOD when some sort of echo/reverb sound is used, for example when starting a new game in Half-life 2(when Gman talks to you, and you can hear his voice echoing).
I won't give any other details about the problem(my GPU, driver version, BSOD info etc) because i've already done a lot of research about it and I don't want to get help with it here
Well, most problem games(which cause a BSOD or crash) work fine when I completely disable sound rendering. Does anyone know a way to do this in half-life 2? I don't mean muting the sound but the whole rendering.
Sorry for my crappy English and thanks in advance.
