Couldn't say it better. Kind of like how we'll never run out of oil either, it'll just be in forms that are too difficult to extract or refine to meet demand.

You waste your reserves of water, the stuff sitting in dams and the like which in many countries is rather limited by things like drought.

We can easily turn sea water into potable water so I wouldn't say the supply is limited. It's just rather costly to do so and usually results in higher water rates for everyone. Water companies certainly don't have any reasons to be upset.

You cant get water as fast as you use it. Desalination, recycling and nature. People bathing, washing, drinking.
well thats the problem in Singapore at least. We actually have to buy water from Malaysia.
