I was thinking of dying my hair and doing something trendy with it. I was going to die it jet black and have brown tips. But I have no idea how to get my mom to let me, any ideas on convincing her? I'm 14 by the way. I hope she doesn't asks me if I'm gay:laugh:

I'd ask you if you were gay.

Why in gods name would you want to do that? It's not trendy at all. In fact, it's gaudy and screams "poser".

I'm 14 too by the way, so this is comming from a peer.

the only positive aspect of dieing ur hair the comedic factor of you doing some random dumb sheeyat.

:|.

This goes against everything me and my UserName stand for.

I'm doing something emo with it. :D

If your going to become an emo, you must read the chart:

^ This is why we need a Department of Defective Gene Control in every nation.

Sometimes I think Hitler had the right idea, with his eugenics. :p

If you want to dye your hair, dye your hair. Why would you need your moms permission? Does your mom dress you? Does she?

Regardless, just go buy some dye, perhaps temporary hair dye ( lasts like a week? ) and do it. She will at first be alarmed and say how she doesn't like it, then she will ask you to remove it, but you can tell her it's temporary hair dye, and that you really love it. ( they are all temporary in fact, so you could use this lie even if you use the long-term hair dye)

After a few days, she will get used to it a little and she may not mind if you really like it maybe she will eventually just get over it.

I wouldn't worry about the hair, I would worry what she will think about the shit poetry and the cuts between the veins in your wrists!

Don't dye your hair emo kid, your parents will look at you and go "wtf emo fag lol"

No, they won't. Every parent loves their young, and they'll just whip him till he repents.

I'm 14.

No, seriously.

SERIOUSLY.

Cursed older forum members. Taking away my credibility.

Me too, me too. *joins crying*

Don't do it that sounds like it's going to look retarded and queer.

That summed up everyone's minds.

Don't listen to the other forum members. Do whatever the f*ck you want with your hair- it's yours, after all. And as for your mom, I wouldn't worry about it. She'll adjust, and parents are usually pretty okay with things that aren't permanent.

And I'm 16, so I am superior to most of the little tykes on this thread.

Well he obviously does NOT want to appear gay, so we're giving him advice on how not to.

But if he wants to look gay by all means go for it, you go girl!

use the temporary dye and do whatever the hell you want with it. then you'll probably realise you look stupid and regret it, but hey, put it down as life experience.

Dyed hair can be very cool.

How old is Cpt. Stern, our most senior member?

And on topic: Do whatever you want, but we cannot guarantee that it'll be fine with other people.

A flashback of Teta_Bonita and his "My parents thing I'm Gay" thread........

CptStern is older than me :)

Use the factor of scarcity, say youre only dieing it once and say it doesnt cost so much if you do it now opposed to later. also try to put some uncertainty probably in the fact that it will look good and your parents might just be uncertain it wont

all else fails go do it at a friends house people cant be mad forever

I'm 14 years old. There, I admitted it, **** you all. Spread my teenage angst.
