Hi guys, I've just "aquired" CS, it's been a while since I have used it.
Now that I've started photography( 5 months ago), I wanted to HDR a couple of my pics.

I was wondering if any of you had good tutorials or tips.

Here is my flickR site ( I have yet to load my Paris pics from the week end)

You need photoshop CS2 or another program to do it. Here's my first one. I didn't have the best lighting to really show off HDR, but I just wanted to make one.

You take three pictures of the same things, using different exposures so you get a bright/normal/dark image. Then you can combine them in photoshop using the File>Automate>Merge to HDR command.

Here's a MUCH better one:

Thanks a lot man. Now I'll have to use the triple pic option on my cam.
Do you have to save them in RAW ?

no you can save them however, mine come off the camera as jpeg.

You ABSOLUTELY need a tripod to do HDR, because your 3+ pictures have to be exactly the same with just different shutter speeds. You'll find out that even if the wind blows a tree in the picture, or the clouds move too fast, that they'll be blurred.

Here's one I did tonight; it's of birmingham.

Here's the city with a single 5 second exposure:

Here's the city with HDR (3sec, 5sec, 8sec exposures):
