How to make desktop wallpaper animate on vista?

I tried google, all I got was people complaining about the pictures they had, apparently they just set as background wallpaper, and it's animated. I set animated gifs to wallpaper and it just takes a still from the gif, and slaps it on my desktop.

Any setting I have to change?

i know gifs worked on my XP Media Center 2005 OS but I haven't tried it on my new Vista Premium. try another gif maybe. also is this for a prank??

No I want that eye gif from the image thread. Make the background colour black, then have that centered. It'd be just one lone eye in the middle of my screen looking around.

This might work on vista, but I have not tried as can't be bothered to dual boot into vista because it's 7.55am and I'm off to work.

The link is for a screen saver lol, I would be interested in animated wallpaper for vista. I've got 4 simple but impressive animated wallpapers for xp if anyone is interested.
