How to make shorcuts

Please if any one know: how u do shorcuts for the every hl2 mod u iinstal on the computer?
I haved instaled hl2 substance and i want to make a desktop shorcut an i dont know how.
I know its sound silly but i want to start my games from the desktop(i am a lazy

well makeing any short cut is easy, makeing a cusom Icon for it is a little harder. you can so it by right clicking substance in steam and hitting " create desktop icon " however it wont use its own icon, it will only use the steam icon, well, for me anyway.

You just right click on teh game in Steam window, and select, "Create Destop Icon" and there you go.
