How to play HL2:CE without putting in DVD?

I bought the HL2 Collector's Edition and installation went without any problem. I have just one small matter: everytime i want to play HL2 of CS:Source, Steam will ask to put in the DVD. It's kinda hassle since why would steam needs the dvd to constantly be in the drive. People who bought HL2 from steam can always run the game from steam. Anyway that I can just run the game without putting in the DVD?
