How to reset the entire game?

Hello there o.o

I've been searching a lot for this, but couldn't find any awnser:

How does one completely reset Half life 2 so that the startup level at the title screen will correspond with the latest save (which is ultimately what i want to do)? Deleting all saved games doesn't work, and i went through all the config files i could find and didn't find anything readable that would let me do this.

It's really annoying to see the citadel when you're still in Ravenholm...and i'd like to avoid re-installing the entire game everytime i start it over.

See if "sv_unlockedchapters #" works.

(# = chapter number, Ravenholm is 6)

Don't forget to enter in "sv_cheats 1" in first.

*Just tested it. This method works.

joule i believe he is talking about the background that you get on the start menu when you load hl2.
