how to spawn combine soldiers whit weapons?

I am just having fun whit the console comands but I dont know how to spawn combines soldier whit weapons

someone know?

also the striders allways spawn under the ground?

npc_create_equipment weapon_smg1; npc_create npc_combine_s

smg1, ar2, shotgun, crowbar, rpg, annabelle, alyxgun are other weapons that will work.

for striders you need to noclip up into the air and type give npc_strider.

To be honest, I was curious about the same thing due to someone bragging about Combine Squad Tactics AI. But, GMod does it for you, so why do you need the console command?

depends on your opinion of stolen?
really tho, usually you ask the original programmer for the wright, to use there source code! or it could of been open source.
either way garry would of had the right to use the source code in gmod!
also including the original programmers name and details in the credits.

But if he actually stolen the code, then garry would have been in the wrong!
usually programmers support each other, to create a program or a piece of software!
really do you think, Gabe newell wrote the entire program for HL2 and source?
by him self, of course not!

Let me clarify : Garry is a great programmer. Many of the features that Gmod has were written by him. But he did steal a few things, the most important of them being the base of the code.

That's right. When he worked on the mod with a team, he stole the source code and claimed it as his own. That just makes me sick. Maybe he built a great mod, but I still don't respect him simply because of that. You can compare it with me taking a Linux OS, modifying it and then claim that I wrote the entire OS by myself.

It's just wrong. No wonder they call Garry a Source Nazi.
