How to unlock Armor in Halo 3

At the moment I'm using the CQB, but I'm aiming to unlock the Scout, ODST and Regulator the most because they look awesome. Gonna mix up all the different parts and stoof.

No, its a combination of things. Some pieces are unlocked by acheivements, others by gamerscore, others by campaign progress. However, noone knows how to get the hayabusa armour.

Right now I got:

Recon Head
EVA Body
Mark VI shoulders

Looks pretty sweet, what about you guys?

I've found a few more things unlocked - the ODST and Scout helmet and the EVA body armour. I like the ODST helmet but it doesn't look much different from the standard helmet, and I want something really eye-catching, so I'm using the Scout helmet, EVA armour and CQB right armour plate. Looks awesome. I do love the CQB helmet, though.

Nope. They're there so you can customize your looks beyond just colour schemes and an emblem.

Weird though, because I've completed the campaign on normal and gotten a few rank ups in multi already and I'm sure I'm still limited to Mark VI and CQB... maybe I'll have to double check through all the locked ones. Would be handy if it actually let you know when you had new ones but whatever.

hayabusa (samurai) armour

i have heard from multiple sources that the hayabusa (samurai) armour is unlocked by getting all 13 skulls, and i have also heard where they all are, i have got 12 atm and i think i know where 2 get the 13th or iwhbyd skull, im not 100% sure if its the right way to get it yet. but i heard that it is unlocked by jumping through the rings at the end of the level covenant in a certan order, i heard the order is 4 5 6 5 7 6 5 4 1 2 3 2 7 2 1 1 3 4 6 7 5 4 6 5 4 5 3 4. (number 1 being at the entrance and number 7 being near the holobridge thing, get back to me if this dosnt work, i am still looking for other theorys and i will let u kno at once wen i find out, message me if you hav any theorys, if you kno how to get the samurai or if my way is correct.

I'm working on the skulls. Do you have to play through the entire level, or can you start at a rally point to get it? Because it seems like I can't find certain ones, (Even though I go to where they SHOULD be.) I've got the strategy guide. It what you need to do to get all the armor.. I personally like the EVA head.

You have to start the level from the beginning, but you can save/quit once you find the skull.

I doubt that's real, as so far all I know is that the entire internet is trying to find out the right combination, and nobody has done so yet.

[Edit] On closer inspection, the two codes are the same. Kenjito's simply has more numbers at the beginning - and if that webpage I linked is to be believed, there are unnecessary digits in the code I pasted too.

Umm check out the Haloplanet website for exact locations. I know three are on the Ark, three are on the Covenant and one on Cortana.

I believe there is something called Katana, albeit I don't know what it is. I think it's the hidden armor, but you get it by getting 1000 gamerscore and getting all the skulls. And yes, that thirteenth skull has been approved. It's already on the cheat websites..
BTW, the Grunt Birthday Party skull is the freaking greatest.
Get a headshot, confetti flies out of the grunt and you hear a little 'Yaay!'.

I just 5 minutes ago saw someone with a armour that had a katana on it's back, but I've seen the samurai/dragon thingy armour a few times in games. I want the Carmine Helmet! (Gears of War-like helmet)
