I uploaded a 700 megabyte file in 720p. *Of the HL2.net matches...* and it's just as shitty quality as before.

Anybody have any insight on how to get that resolved? I've tried adding the whole &fmt=18 or whatever to the end, and it doesn't work.

Googling for this is useless.

I think it's &fmt=22 to get it to show more hq

does yours have a "watch in high quality" link below it? Sometimes the videos have that and it doesn't change the link when you click it.

Yeah, I click the link but it still isn't good.....

perhaps it takes awhile longer to process the HD stuff and it will become hd quality later.

It uploaded in the middle of the night *about 5 hours ago*...

The higher quality streams can take days to appear sometimes or it just didn't acknowledge the fact that the file was of higher quality. What bitrate was the video and audio?

I used Ulead, so I just told it to make the video 720p, which looks great to me...

Here's the properties..

Well it's definitely high enough, perhaps even too high. :) The only thing I can think of is that it's the file format. If you know how too, encode the video with an MPEG-4 codec like DivX or Xvid with the sound encoded as MP3.

I have no idea how to do that haha. I don't remember it saying anything about specific files needed...but it is Youtube.

It also took all night to upload.
