Why can't Valve please say what they mean with "other projects" in the new newspage we got today, and why can't they just say when they expect they will release VAC for source, that can't be too hard,can it?We people who play CSS really wants to know what's going on with the game and what updates are nearing

Most likely because of the disappointments on the Hl2 community because of promised released dates for hl2 itself. Gabe Newell seemed pretty torn up by all the missed dates in 'The Final Hours' article on Gamespot (reference: http://www.gamespot.com/features/6112889/).

Just forget about it and it will come quicker than you expect, anticipating and getting aggravated will slow time, it's scientific knowledge! ... of sorts.

If they say "We expect VAC to come in 1 week" And if it misses that date, you will be the first person on here complaining valve sucks and can't hit a release date.

Valve currently is the best developer for communication with their community.
