I'm a noob to CS and CSS. Been playing a few days now and noticed a few playes getting into places high that I can't get to. Watched then in the chatau for instance, top floor of the centre bomb area, managing to simply jump onto the ruined walls and up across the top of the arches. Tried double tapping the space bar where they get up to no avail. What gives??

its crouch jumping.

when you are mid air after a jump, hold down the ctrl button, or whatever you have assigned to crouch, and it will bring your feet up, allowing you to get a little more into the jump

itll take some practice, but its easy after you get it...

if you dont get what i just said, load up half life 1 and do the training map

Add the following lines to your config.cfg (steam>steamapps>your email>counterstrike:source>cstrike>cfg )

alias +duckjump "+jump; +duck"
alias -duckjump "-jump; -duck"
bind "SPACE" "+duckjump"


Now you can do the crouch jump with one button press
