So upgrading from the old desktop in my sig, I'm getting a CPU, motherboard, ram, and videocard while keeping the rest. I was looking to spend around $400 and this will go over a bit but it looks perfect to me.

OCZ Platinum 2x2GB

Gigabyte Ga-EP35-DS3L

Core 2 Duo Wolfdale E7200

Then I'll be getting some 4850. Look good?

I'm not gonna comment on your entire set up as I'm having trouble keeping up with the hardware chagnes lately, been too damn busy. I'm sure someone else will help you out.

The only comment I want to make is that I would stay away from OCZ. I ordered a set of 2 x 1GB ddr2 memory from them for a server at work about 2 years back. Right out of the box one of the sticks was bad and they would not allow me to send back just the one stick, I had to send back both holding up the time needed to put the server online. But what made things worse after they replaced these sticks less than a year later one of them failed again and again I had to send back both to get an RMA. They did replace the sticks fairly quickly, less than 2 weeks, but I have no hope that these sticks will survive much longer. The next time they fail I have some kingston ram I'm ready to stick in there, it's not worth having to do this every few months. This could just be related to the lot I got from them, but after this I will not be buying ram from them again.

Good mobo
Good processor
Not sure about RAM, myself.
