I still play Total Annihilation from time to time, wonderful game series, although it gets annoying when all the wrecks of ones enemies start to bloody litter the entire game world xD

I hope Bohemia shows off "OFP2" at E3 also..

And there's one game releasing before/during E3 that anyone with a 360 has to buy, Dead Rising!<3

The (Unofficial) sqeual to Total annihilation, what some would say is the best rts ever!

Spiritual Successor to Total Annihilation. I'm calling it a successor because it isn't exactly a sequel or a prequel to the Storyline, but made by the same people and with the same ideas of innovation that they brought along with TA.

I would say the best looking units are the Naval Destroyers that can walk on land.

Its the first time that I have actually seen volumetric flak (Metallic fragments). You should be able to see it at the top of the screenshot under the game info storyline

that and everything is built to scale, so for example your tanks aren't just a bit bigger than your infantry, in this your big tanks can actually crush stuff in their path. The game is also going to be very large scale as seen in the picture where it just keeps zooming out.

The only RTS that was any good in the last 3 years or so has been Ground Control II, hopefully this is better.

The storyline and graphics were superb, but I felt the interface needed an uplift.

I think the best game I played remotely RTS in the past 3 years has been The Jupiter Incident, by the guys who made Imperium Galactica. It was the story that did it for me, plus the early missions felt inspired by the Oddesey books by Arthur C. Clark

Mechanoids = Monolith
Stilleto = The Russian craft in the second movie
Angelwing = Discovery
Angel = Hal

I rememeber when i asked about the gfx and how they werent up to par. I didnt ask in a bad way was just wondering what the deal was. I look at it now and it looks amazing. Cant wait seriously looks PERFECT. Need to blast some nukes!!!

If it's like TA, then I bet you can select as many as you want. I hope they kept the self-destruct function. Nothing like selecting all your units and buildings then have them all blow up together at once causing the screen to shake like mad. :E

Heh that actually reminds me how realistic TA was. If a unit explodes, anything near it gets damage, even the flying debris caused some slight damage when it hit something.
