Hey all,
I'm having a weird HUD-problem in Half-Life 2. See this picture:
As you can see, my crosshair is just a Q and the icons in the weapon-selector are also messed up.
And is the I-Rifle supposed to look that ugly or is it another problem I have? The other weapons seem to have much better textures.
These are my specs:
AMD Athlon XP 1700+ (1.4 Ghz)
512 MB DDR-SDRAM
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro AIW 128 MB - ATI Catalyst 4.11
Creative Audigy 2 ZS
These are my settings:
Resolution: 1152x864
Texture detail: Medium
Model detail: Medium
Water detail: Reflect World
Shadow detail: Low
Antialiasing mode: Off
Filtering mode: Trilinear
Shader detail: High
Wait for vertical sync: Enabled
This is my autoexec.cfg:
sv_cheats 1
fps_max 85
r_shadows 0
cam_idealyaw 0
cam_idealdist 128
Bind F2 ThirdPerson
Bind F3 FirstPerson
jpeg_quality 100
Bind F10 "cl_drawhud 0; wait; wait; JPEG; cl_drawhud 1"
I already tried reinstalling Half-Life 2 completely and changing the resolution (1152x864 isn't a very common one), but both didn't help either. I'm having no graphical problems with Counter-Strike Source whatsoever.
Any help would be really appreciated!
