HUGE Problem

Hey,

I have recently started paying for a proper CSS server and when I try to connect to it I get the error...

"Disconnect: Kicked by Console : Illegal Alias In Use"

Now I know that there is a thread or 2 which answer how to fix that (with the whole cl_restrict_server_commands 0 console command) but I have 2 problems with that...

1. A ton of servers ban people who have the cl_restrict_server_commands set to 0.

2. When I did set it to 0 and attempted to connect to my server it just hung on Sending client info.

I have no idea how to fix it but if anyone has any suggestions then I am more than happy to try them...

Oh and if anyone can take a minute to see if they can get on my server... the ip is 203.145.58.19:27035.

Sounds like the server hatse your nick.
Have you tried any other servers?
Also: Is your CS:S Legal?

Tried changing my nick, same thing.

Tried other servers, they work fine.

and yes my CS:S is 100 % legal.

I've had this before. Usually happened whenever I connected to a Private server. And I usually enter this in and it fixes it..

Type this in console (then change it back if you want to, after you connect to the server..):
cl_restrict_server_commands "0"

Then if you don't want those abusive admins, set it back to 1.
