Human Target is an American action drama television series broadcast by Fox in the United States. It is based on the comic book character of the same title created by Len Wein and Carmine Infantino, and developed for television by Jonathan E. Steinberg. The show began airing on Fox on January 17, 2010. The series premiered on CTV in Canada on January 15, 2010

The series follows the life of Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a unique private contractor, bodyguard and security expert hired to protect his clients. He protects his clients by completely integrating himself into the lives of the client, to become the human target. Chance is accompanied by his business partner Winston (Chi McBride) and hired gun Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley). He puts himself on the line to find the truth behind the mission. Even his own business partner Winston doesn't know what drove him towards this life – becoming the human target.

Music

On July 25, 2009, Bear McCreary announced on his blog from ComicCon that he would be scoring Human Target. He noted that the epic pilot score had been recorded with a full orchestra.

Reception

The series premiere of Human Target received generally favorable reviews, scoring 69 out of 100 on Metacritic. The New York Times stated, "because he's a human target, he has no problem blowing out of exploding buildings (of which there are too many to count) with nary a scratch. Think Jack Bauer with excellent grooming." Talking about the shows premiere, USA Today's Robert Bianco wrote that the "confined-spaces fight on the train is a miniature marvel of its kind".

Rorschach has a day job I see.

Anyway I saw it, was quite good, I had a fear that it might be like smallville, but seems fine so far.

:bounce:

Danny Glover cameo ftw.

Saw an ep, I'm guessing it was actually the first one then.

How come Rorschasch looks a bit like John Hurt? Or is that just me?

If the show pulls off a mini movie per episode, I'd say I'm watching this, cus this episode feel'd like TV movie version of a Steven Seagal movie.

Dude my friend and I were flipping through the channels and stopped on this and what we saw was wild. We only caught the end part where the guy is punching the shit out of that butler-lookin' dude on the train. We didn't know the premise so we sat there making commentary. We thought we were watching some hilariously bad B-movie; we were calling it "Train Fight: Your Ticket's Been Punched."

2nd episode was quite good too, I'm starting like this show, if the quality maintains this will be a good show, a show Fox always wanted.

plus its set in the DC universe, we could have villain or hero cameo's :)

Did anyone catch the episode where Chance was a Monk?

Did anyone else laugh at the stunt he preformed to catch up with life going down the mountain!
