Every time I see pictures of this game, I can't help but be in awe :O . And, with this latest batch of screenshots to come about, Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed for the PlayStation 3 is looking sweeter and sweeter.

Let's just hope the final gameplay turns out to be as solid as these pictures appear when the game finally ships next year.

While some have already been posted on a magazine, seeing them in high-res glory puts the "pwn" in AC. Looking forward to how this turns out, might even get it for PC release.

This looks very interesting but im excited about so much more. When it comes out i will buy it just im not really waiting for it.

Are there any gameplay vids yet? It just looks like Thief: Deadly Shadows but in daylight.

Indeed. Here's hoping for some nighttime objectives!! This game looks marvelous and the devs sound like they know exactly what they are doing in terms of great gameplay, so I am fairly confident that they can pull it off. That's quite a talented bunch of folks.

Hopefully the horses behave like Agro in SotC and not like the robotic horses found in Oblivion.

Does AC use a modified UE3 engine? Those shadows = sex to me! (is this going to come to 360?)

Nope.
Assassin's Creed is the next-gen game developed by Ubisoft Montreal that will redefine the action genre. While other games claim to be next-gen with impressive graphics and physics, Assassin's Creed merges technology, game design, theme, and emotions into a world where you instigate chaos and become a vulnerable, yet powerful, agent of change.

The proprietary engine developed from the ground up for the next-gen console allows organic game design featuring open gameplay, intuitive control scheme, realistic interaction with environment, and a fluid, yet sharp, combat mechanic.

Doesn't look "next-gen" to me, more like "3 months ago".

I don't know what you guys are talking about, the game looks incredible. It has better graphics than Oblivion and certainly a lot better than Thief 3. The truly impressive aspect comes when you see it in motion, and how all the characters interact with one another and move through the environment in a very realistic way.

Isn't it developed by Prince of Persia trilogy makers? I hope they eventually decide to release this game on X360 and PC, too.

So this is supposed to be next-gen gfx? Meh.
