well like every other dues ex fan joe bob i was looking forward to dx2 naturally I played to demo and declared it crap after playing for a couple hours... the fact that the phisics where laugh out loud bad the combat was snorearific and the rpg elements werent enough to save it from its impending doom
but would we all feel this way had there been no news of hl2, d3, stalker, farcry ect?? i mean dx2 promised nothing short of what it delivered in my opinion... but i didnt enjoy it as much because what it promised/deliverd what short of what i expect in any modern fps even if its also an rpg/mmo ect. I shoot down dx2 but I do so respectfully in the same manner I did savage and planetside
but my question is had we not been hyped by promises from major titles such as half-life 2 and id's doom III would we be so actively bashing dx2.... I doubt it b/c lets face it the fps industry is on the brink of revolution and ut2k3 technology no doubt shot it off dx2 looks nothing short of watered down crap can you sense the dissapointment in my voice?? heh i feel this way because deus ex was revolutionary and the series seems to be destroyed :bonce: maybe theyl make books about it b/c i loved the story it was orginal and amazeing another reason i feel a little dumbfounded with suck when i play the demo is the ad's that made it seem so damn great what side will you pick on the future war on terror? cmon what cheesey crap bag picked that line(jk?)... great advertiseing to the average american though I have to admit
