HyperX or XMS?

ok guys do i want to go with the hyperx by kingston 2-3-2-6 timings 270

http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/KHX3200AK2_1G.pdf

or do i go with the xms by corsair, with 2-2-2-5 timings 370$

http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair/products/specs/twinx1024-3200xl.pdf

both ram are pc3200 512x2, hyperx has a blue spreader and xms has a black spreader. i like hte blue myself. but im goona run a p4 3.0 x800xt p4c800-e deluxe mobo.

the price difference is 100bucks, will the faster timing make any difference? or am i just pushing 1-5 fps extra? i dont wanna pick nose hairs im not a super fps fan. so does anyone have any info or suggestions baout htis? will hl2 benefit any from the ram differance? i wont be doing any ocing.

Didn't you already post and ask this a few months ago? lol

I'd go with the Kingston, as the extra $100 for the tighter timings isn't worth it at all IMO

Edit: Looking over it again, the Corsair's timings are barely better, there's no way that's worth the extra $100

a few months ago was about general ram, this is now specific timings. i originally wanted to go with the hyperx, but now since there is faster ram, im trying to upgrade my list.

so no one in this hardware forum know anything about ram? ok i guess ill try somewhere else from now on.

a side from this topic,

there makging CS:S and CS2?

wtf is going on. why is everything out of place, what happened to the regular counting. ****ing liberal faggit californians.

Being kind is usually helpful for getting nice responses.

Kingston. Do the research yourself to find the reason why.

If it were an A64 then timings would mean basicly nothing.
P4's might notice the difference. Well, numbers anyway.
While the Cosair XMS with 2-2-2-5 timings are very pricey, these would offer simlar performance with some savings.
If I bought the memory, I would actually go with these.

Lower timings AND cost less than both.

Personally, I'd get some OCZ. And since I don't think you're overclocking, if it's just between those two, I would get the XMS since 2-2-2-5 shouldn't be underestimated.

This isn't the same memory we are talking about here but to give you an idea.
Corsair 2-2-2-6 vs Kingston 2-2-2-6 memory - Link

Here is an review on memory timings for the P4.

hey asus, that last link it dosent say whcih ram are being testeD? i knwo that the 2700 hyperx is 2225, i think i wanna go with 3200, but hyperx dosent have 3200 2226 timings, but corsair has even better 2225, hyperx best is 2-3-2-6, so what do you think, is it that much of a difference? for example take the 9800xt and hte x800xt, major performance difference. will it be like that? or no differance at all

There are benchmarks later on in games under different timings. Read to the end if you havn't.

Here is another timings comparison.
I can't find anything between the Kingston and Corsair that you have in your first post.

I still like the OCZ. hehe

i looked at those fps readings in games, that helped a lot, for 100 bucks extra i dont think im goona get the xms, its to much fps digging. thanks for the links asus. helped me decide.

p.s. asus is my bitch

p.s.s. asus is my bitch
